At AJM Jewellery Ltd, every piece is created with care, craftsmanship and attention to detail. As we specialise in bespoke jewellery, remodelling and made-to-order commissions, we believe it’s important that our clients understand our policies before placing an order. This policy outlines deposits, payments, cancellations, repairs and refunds to ensure clarity and transparency throughout the process.
Deposits
A 50% deposit is required before any bespoke commission, remodelling project or custom jewellery work begins.
This secures your design slot, covers initial design time, sourcing and workshop preparation.
Final Payment
Full payment must be made before collection or delivery of any item. No jewellery will be released until payment
has been received in full.
Bespoke & Custom Jewellery
As all bespoke pieces are custom made specifically for each client, deposits and completed payments are
non-refundable once work has begun. This includes bespoke engagement rings, wedding rings, remodelled
jewellery and commissioned pieces.
Design Changes
Clients will be kept informed throughout the process. Once designs, CADs or specifications are approved, further
major changes may incur additional charges depending on the stage of production.
Repairs & Remodelling
Jewellery repairs and remodelling work are carried out with great care, however older or previously repaired items
can carry underlying weaknesses that may not be visible before work begins. AJM Jewellery Ltd will always
advise clients of any visible risks where possible.
Refunds
Refunds are not offered on bespoke, custom-made or remodelled jewellery unless an item is found to have a
manufacturing fault. If an issue arises, we will assess the piece and where appropriate offer a repair, adjustment
or resolution.
Collection & Storage
Clients will be contacted once items are ready for collection. Items left unpaid or uncollected for extended periods
may be subject to storage charges.
